Please read carefully. Using LokPay means you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By signing up or using LokPay, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. User Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old. Identity verification may be required for security, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance.

3. Transactions & Payment Protection

All payments are securely held until the buyer confirms receipt and satisfaction of the product or service.

Buyers: You may cancel an order if the delivery time expires and product is incorrect, damaged, or does not arrive. The product amount will be fully refunded. Delivery fees are always paid to the seller to cover their delivery costs.

Sellers: You are guaranteed payment for the delivery fee once an item is shipped. Funds for the product are released upon buyer confirmation

Withdrawals and refunds are generally processed instantly but may take 1–3 business days to arrive depending on the bank.

4. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, photos, and details of products or services. Repeated complaints, false product claims, or failure to deliver may result in account suspension or banning.

Sellers are responsible for quality, authenticity, availability, and delivery of their items.

5. Fees & Charges

Service or Buyer protection fees are charged at the start of a transaction. These fees are non-refundable as they cover platform operation, fraud protection, and payment verification.

Fee structures may be updated at any time. New fees apply to new transactions immediately.

6. Refunds & Disputes

Buyers may raise disputes within 48 hours of delivery. Evidence such as photos, videos, or chat logs may be requested.

Refunds are automatically processed and generally settled within 24 hours, but may take up to 3 business days depending on your bank.

Failure to provide requested evidence may invalidate the dispute. Sellers are required to cooperate during dispute resolution.

7. Account Suspension & Banning

Accounts may be temporarily suspended or permanently banned for fraud, repeated failed deliveries, fake product claims, abuse of the platform, or violation of these Terms.

Buyers remain protected at all times. Sellers will be notified of any action taken against their account.

8. Limitation of Liability

LokPay is a neutral platform that facilitates transactions. We do not guarantee product quality or seller honesty.

LokPay is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or emotional stress. Maximum liability is limited to the funds held in the transaction.

9. Disclaimer & Risk Notice
  • The platform is provided “as is”.
  • Users assume risks associated with online transactions.
  • All disputes are governed by Nigerian law with arbitration in Lagos State.
  • LokPay is indemnified for liabilities beyond the escrowed funds.
10. Withdrawals

Withdrawals are automated. Banks may take 1–3 business days to complete transfers. LokPay is not responsible for bank delays.

11. Bank Account Accuracy

All payouts and refunds are made to the bank account provided. Users are responsible for supplying correct details. LokPay is not liable for lost funds due to incorrect bank information.

Changes to bank accounts require identity verification.

12. Changes to Terms

LokPay may update these Terms at any time. Continued use indicates acceptance of the revised Terms. Last updated: January 16, 2026.
